吳傑霖（Michael J. Wu）是吳超塵將軍(General Wu Chaochen)的孫子，也是吳叔梁博士(Dr. Shu-Liang Bob Wu) 的兒子, 1994年7月10日出生於美國加州洛杉磯, 吳傑霖先後畢業於加州大學洛杉磯分校 ( UCLA ) 榮獲機械工程學士學位( Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering, 2016 )和美國加州大學伯克萊分校（UC Berkeley)， 機械工程碩士學位(ME Master of Engineering, 2017 )。吳傑霖在2012年榮獲美國老鷹童子軍 （Eagle Scout）證書，他是加州大學洛杉磯分校 ( UCLA ) 2016 年工學院畢業典禮最傑出的學士獎(2016 Outstanding Bachelor of Science Award )得主，及2016-17加州大學洛杉磯分校 ( UCLA ) 工學院最傑出的學士校友獎(2016-17 Outstanding Bachelor of Science Alumni Award)得主等,他除榮獲以上榮譽外，他同時在2016年獲得美國國防部 (Department of Defense) 1 年的 SMART (Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation) 獎學金進入加州大學伯克萊分校(UC Berkeley)，攻讀工程碩士( Master of Engineering ) 學位，2017年5月畢業，畢業後, 吳傑霖曾在2017-2019 年任職於加州洛杉磯美國空軍太空和火箭系統中心 （US Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center ）。
吳傑霖自2019 年至今,任職於在美國洛杉磯的航空太空公司( The Aerospace Corporation), 專責於太空和火箭系統( Space and Missile Systems)工作。
Michael J. Wu 在最近連續升遷, 在2022年躍升為負責專業項目的主工程師(Project Engineer). 而 Michael J. Wu 在2023年9月底已躍升為美國洛杉磯的航空太空公司 ( The Aerospace Corporation） 負責專業項目的工程經理 ( Engineering manager),是為數不多的年輕專業項目的工程經理. 吳傑霖現住在美國洛杉磯的 Gardena. 他已在2022年10月8日結婚成家.
Michael J. Wu is the grandson of General Wu Chaochen， He is also the son of Dr. Shu-Liang Bob Wu. He was born in Los Angeles USA at July 10, 1994.
Michael Wu received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from UCLA and was the Outstanding Bachelor of Science student at the school’s 2016 commencement. Under the guidance of Professor Ajit Mal, Michael Wu was the project lead for a joint research effort between the Aerospace Corporation and UCLA to investigate impact damage on 3-D fiber reinforced foam core composite sandwich structures and later, the research paper has been published. As an Eagle Scout, he served on the executive board of Bruin Scouts, a UCLA organization that provides mentorship and outreach to local Scouting programs. Michael Wu was also a member of Tau Beta Pi, where he tutored engineering students every week and provided interactive science lessons at a local elementary school. Michael Wu graduated from UC Berkeley, where he got a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, with a concentration in product design. After he completed his degree in May 2017, he worked as a full-time employment for the Space and Missile Systems Center at the Los Angeles Air Force Base from 2017 to 2019.
He was the winner of the 2016-17 Outstanding Bachelor of Science Alumni Award from UCLA school of Engineering during the National Engineers Week 2017
Besides the above awards, he received one year Department of Defense SMART (Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation) scholarship to study Master of Engineering degree in UC Berkley in 2016. He got his ME Master of Engineering in May 2017.
Michael J. Wu works for The Aerospace Corporation from 2019 to present. Recently, he got 2 different promotions. He got promoted to work as a Project Engineer in 2022 and another promotion as an Engineering Manager in late September, 2023 for "The Aerospace Corporation" . He is a very few young manager (under 30 years old) to work for the company.
Michael J. Wu lives in Gardena, California now. He got married on October 8, 2022.
